(KNSI) – Wabash National will permanently close its Little Falls manufacturing facility on April 17th, resulting in the layoff of all 56 employees.

According to a Worker Adjustment and Retraining Notification filed with the state, layoffs will happen in two phases. The first begins on March 6th, followed by a second round starting April 3rd.

The affected positions span multiple departments and skill levels, including assemblers, machine operators, welders, manufacturing laminators, production coordinators, maintenance technicians, materials coordinators, production supervisors, a quality engineer, and an HR manager.

Wabash National is a major North American manufacturer specializing in semi-trailers, truck bodies, and related transportation equipment. The company produces dry vans, refrigerated trailers, platform trailers, and tank trailers, while also developing advanced materials and technology for the logistics industry.
