(KNSI) – The Morrison County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help after a business and a church in Swanville were broken into.

Deputies were alerted to a burglary alarm at Swanville Produce around 1:45 a.m. on Sunday, January 4th. According to a press release, the deputies found that the produce store had been burglarized. The deputies also discovered that nearby St. Peter Lutheran Church had been burglarized. At Swanville Produce, the suspect or suspects entered by prying open a door to the storefront. At the church, it appears the intruders rummaged through multiple offices.

Authorities have not yet determined what items, if any, were stolen from either location. The investigation remains ongoing.

The Morrison County Sheriff’s Office is asking witnesses to report any suspicious activity from the early morning hours. Residents and business owners should also check their security cameras for relevant footage.
