(KNSI) – Santa Claus and his trusty sidekick Buddy the Elf will be sleighing through Sartell on Thursday, December 18th, for a holiday tour before delivering presents on Christmas.
The beloved annual tradition starts at 5:00 p.m. as Santa trades his sleigh for something with a bit more horsepower, a Sartell Fire Department truck. The festive parade will depart from the Sartell Community Center and wind through city streets, spreading holiday magic to families throughout the community.
This year, residents can follow Santa’s journey via a live GPS tracker posted on the City of Sartell’s Facebook page. The tracker lets families know exactly when Santa and Buddy will be passing through their neighborhood, so no one misses the Christmas magic.
The tour route features designated viewing locations marked with stars on the official map, indicating the best spots to park and watch Santa drive by. They include Sartell High School, Val Smith Park, Pinecone Central Park and Coborn’s off Pinecone Road. Residents can view detailed maps of both the outbound (red line) and homebound (green line) routes.
