(KNSI) – A squadron of F-22 Raptor fighter jets will roar across the sky over St. Cloud next summer as part of the first-ever North Star Air Show.
Get ready to feel the need…the need for speed with the F-22 Raptor Demonstration Team, an elite U.S. Air Force aerobatic team based out of Virginia. It was formed to show the awesome capabilities of the new generation of fighter planes. The show is scheduled for St. Cloud Sky Central Airport on August 1st and 2nd.
Airport Authority Board Chair Brian Myres is enthusiastic. “We are thrilled to invite the community for this highly anticipated event. The air show will increase industry exposure while simultaneously bolstering the local economy and tourism. It’s part of our strategic initiative to elevate the airport’s profile and highlight its offerings to a broader audience.”
Elevate Air Shows is the promoter for the spectacle. The final roster of performers is still being completed. Additional announcements on the show should come out in early 2026.
