(KNSI) – Move over, firefighter calendars, Sartell Police Officer Curt Grosz and his four-legged partner, Echo, are about to become the hottest pin-ups in law enforcement.
The department announced the dynamic duo have been moonlighting on the side and now have paws-itions as calendar models. They are together in the 2026 Vested Interest in K9s, Inc. nationwide fundraising calendar.
The calendar highlights twelve law enforcement K9s who have received protective vests from the nonprofit organization, along with a memorial page honoring K9 officers who have died in the line of duty. The police department says for Grosz and Echo, being selected is truly a tail of success.
Vested Interest in K9s, Inc. provides bullet and stab protective vests to law enforcement dogs across the country. The calendars are available for purchase online at www.vik9s.org for $20 plus shipping, with all proceeds supporting equipment and services for law enforcement K9s nationwide.
According to Police Chief Brandon Silgjord, the police department’s K9 program plays a vital role in local law enforcement operations, and the recognition in the national calendar highlights the important work the dogs and their handlers perform to keep communities safe.
