KNSI Sister Station Wild Country 99 Hosting Toys for Tots Drive at Fleet Farm December 4th

(KNSI) — KNSI sister station Wild Country 99 is partnering with St. Cloud Toyota for a Toys for Tots truck drive on Thursday, December 4th, at Fleet Farm in Waite Park.

The event aims to collect new, unwrapped toys and monetary donations for Toys for Tots of Central Minnesota, with all proceeds benefiting local families through Catholic Charities of the Diocese of St. Cloud. St. Cloud Toyota will match the initial $1,000 in donations.

On air personality Chelsea Valentine emphasized the importance of community support during the holiday season. “Some families, they just don’t have those resources this time of year. Tis the season to give back. That’s our job as being part of this community is to lift up our neighbors in need, and that’s the reason for the season, to bless others.”

Valentine recalled last year’s event and described visiting a distribution site where families wrapped presents together. “To see the families with their kids coming in. They got to wrap the presents together. The smiles on their faces. I’m getting goosebumps right now just remembering that. There are tears in my eyes as I remember these people who are so humble, and so grateful at other’s generosity.”

The drive runs from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
