(KNSI) – Residents are encouraged to attend next Tuesday’s St. Cloud Planning Commission meeting for a community input session.
The six-year Capital Improvement Plan covers parks and trails, public facilities, roads, public utilities, and also addresses traffic. The meeting is scheduled for 6:00 p.m. on the 9th inside council chambers at city hall.
The plan lays out projects by department and assigns each a priority. It then lists the projects that are a necessity by the year they will take place, and then tries to determine the amount of money left over that can go to the next tier of ideas. Funding is also listed by source.
Input gathered during meetings like the one scheduled for Tuesday is used by city officials to make sure they are highlighting what is important to residents. The 2026-2031 Capital Improvement Plan is here.
