(KNSI) — Sunday’s temperature in St. Cloud set a record as the mercury hit 56 degrees.
The National Weather Service says the number beat the old record of 53, set in 2006 and tied in 2021. It was the second record high set this month.
The first was November 14th, when we hit 68, tying the old record set in 1990.
No record highs are expected this week, but several counties along and north of Interstate 94, including Benton and Stearns Counties, are under a winter storm watch starting at 3:00 p.m. Tuesday.
