(KNSI) – A New London man was killed Sunday afternoon when a skid steer loader crushed him.
The incident happened just before 2:45, and the 67-year-old was pronounced dead at the scene. His identity is being withheld until the Kandiyohi County Sheriff’s Office can notify relatives. A press release did not elaborate on how the accident occurred.
The sheriff’s office was helped by the Minnesota State Patrol, Minnesota Department of Natural Resources, New London Ambulance, CentraCare Ambulance, New London Fire Department, Kandiyohi County Rescue Squad, Lakes Area Rural Responders, and Life Link Air Ambulance.
The investigation is ongoing.
