Lane Shift Coming to 5th Avenue South for Utility Project Starting Monday

(KNSI) – Drivers using 5th Avenue South should prepare for traffic changes beginning next week.

Starting Monday, November 17th, a lane shift will be put in place between 3rd Street South and Ramsey Place for a utility project in the area. The shift is expected to remain in place through Wednesday, November 26th, weather permitting.

Traffic will continue in both directions during the work, but motorists should expect narrower lanes and should plan for possible delays. There will be no parking allowed in the work zone.

Drivers are encouraged to use caution when traveling through the area and to consider alternate routes if possible.
