2 1/2 Street North Closed For One Block In Sartell

(KNSI) – A temporary construction project will shut down a block of 2 1/2 Street North near St. Francis Xavier in Sartell for the next week.

The closure affects the road between 4th and 5th Avenue North, which is also close to the Sartell-St. Stephen School District Administration Office and Oak Hill Cemetery. A detour is posted, but city officials ask drivers to plan ahead and drive through the area with caution.

The construction hopes to be wrapped up by Tuesday, November 18th, weather permitting. The rest of the week looks to be mostly sunny with a slight chance for some precipitation on Monday.
