(KNSI) – The Stearns County Sheriff’s Office is still actively investigating the disappearance of a St. John’s University student who first went missing over two decades ago.
On November 9th, 2002, Joshua Guimond attended a party with friends at SJU. What started as a normal Saturday night turned into a nightmare. After leaving the party, Guimond was never seen again. The party was on the north end of campus, and Guimond lived in an apartment at St. Maur House, a short walk away.
At the time of the disappearance, the family said it was unlike Guimond to be out of contact for long periods of time. Guimond’s car was located on campus during the initial search, but no one was inside.
He was last seen wearing blue jeans and a gray SJU sweatshirt.
Anyone with information that could help solve the case is asked to call Investigator Joel Schmidt at 320-257-8962 or Lieutenant Zach Sorenson at 320-259-3732.
