GSDC Honors Regional Excellence with 2025 Awards for Innovation, Leadership, and Community Impact

(KNSI) – The Greater St. Cloud Development Corporation celebrated excellence across the region by announcing the recipients of five prestigious annual awards.

The honors were handed out during the All-Investors Meeting, held earlier this week, to recognize outstanding achievements in business, community development, and leadership.

In a new category for 2025, GSDC introduced the Project of the Year Award. It went to the University of Minnesota CentraCare Regional Campus in St. Cloud. The trophy recognizes new buildings or major renovations that help the local economy grow and create a positive impact in the community.

The GSDC Innovation Awards are given to two organizations for their work in making Benton, Sherburne, and Stearns counties a better place to live.

Career Solutions received the Nonprofit Innovation Award for its CareerONE program, a paid summer employment and skills-training initiative serving youth ages 14-17. The program builds confidence, develops job skills, and prepares teens for a successful career.

ARXG by Reconomy earned the For-Profit Innovation Award for its patented self-service kiosks and mail-back solutions that promote sustainable waste management. The company’s kiosk machines and mail-back programs help reduce landfill waste while protecting public health. The company recently installed the drop boxes at the Sauk Rapids Government Center.

Scipi Companies received the 2025 Employer of Choice Award, recognizing the business for its exceptional ways to train and support employees and its commitment to creating high-performing, positive workplaces with strong methods for hiring and keeping good workers. They’re a holding company with five different companies beneath it, outfitting public safety vehicles and making granite grave markers.

Greg Windfeldt of PCI received the 2025 Leadership Award for his contributions to the region’s business community.

The 2025 Legacy Award was presented in honor of the late Al Kremers, recognizing his lasting impact on the Greater St. Cloud area.
