(KNSI) – The St. Cloud Police Department is peeling back the curtain at its November Dog Walker Watch meeting.

Scheduled for the 25th from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m., the session will feature a tour of the station. Since the group will go through areas where people are actively working, dogs need to be left at home this time.

The Dog Walker Watch group includes monthly meetings, each with a different theme. Its goal is to get people more involved in community safety while they are out with their pets in the neighborhood. The group is taught to be an extra set of eyes and to report potential problems, whether they involve active criminals or city code violations.

The police department headquarters is located at 101 11th Avenue North.
