St. Cloud Metro Vets to host Veterans Day Commemoration Events

(KNSI) – The St. Cloud Metro Vets are hosting two Veteran’s Day events next month.

The 19th annual Veterans Day Parade will take place on Saturday, November 8th, in downtown St. Cloud. The parade steps off at 11:00 a.m. and proceeds south on 9th Avenue North to West St. Germain Street. The route ends at 5th Avenue North near the River’s Edge Convention Center.

On Veterans Day itself, November 11th, a ceremony will be held at 1:30 p.m. in the auditorium of Building 8 at the St. Cloud VA Medical Center. Veterans, their families, and the general public are welcome to attend. Parking is available on the north and east sides of Building 8.
