(KNSI) – Anna Marie’s Alliance will open the doors to its newly renovated facility on Thursday, October 23rd, marking a significant milestone in the organization’s mission to support survivors of relationship abuse.
The grand opening and open house event will run from 3:00 to 6:00 p.m., with a brief program scheduled at 4:00 p.m. The celebration will include tours of the transformed facility and light refreshments.
The renovation, funded through the Coming Home Capital Campaign, represents a major transformation of the shelter. The project converted the previous dormitory-style layout into private apartments, including one- and two-bedroom units, along with enhanced common spaces designed to create a more home-like environment for residents.
The ceremony will provide attendees a chance to hear from key figures involved in the capital campaign and learn more about how the renovations will impact the lives of those seeking refuge from domestic violence.
Anna Marie’s Alliance provides individuals and families experiencing relationship abuse with a safe place to stay and access to critical resources. The organization’s holistic approach includes education, intervention, and advocacy services aimed at helping survivors rebuild their lives.
