(KNSI) – The Sartell Fire Department is holding an open house this evening from 4:00 to 7:00 to tie in National Fire Prevention Week.
The annual event is free and family-friendly. Children will have the opportunity to meet local police officers and firefighters, as the facility is a joint public safety venue. They can tour the fire trucks used by the department, as well as police squad cars.
There will be lessons for kids on creating a home escape plan, along with interactive games. The event is drop-in style, meaning families can come and go as they wish.
The Sartell Public Safety building is located at 501 Pinecone Road South.
