Greater St. Cloud Snapshot Challenge Winners Announced

(KNSI) – From over 130 submissions, it is a picture of University Bridge that wins gold at the Greater St. Cloud Snapshot Challenge.

Amy Hanfler’s snap shows a tranquil, mirror-like scene on the shore of the Mississippi River. University Bridge divides the sky from the water, but both sides of the frame show a low-hanging, golden sun and wispy clouds.

Second place went to Beth Ringsmuth-Stolpman, whose camera caught trivia night under the shelter at Milk and Honey Ciders. Bethany Domm took the third-place picture. Called When Imagination Ascends, it shows a stage production.

The prizes range from $200 to $500 for the winners. The competition isn’t over yet, though. The Greater St. Cloud Development Corporation’s Facebook page will host a People’s Choice Award vote from October 13th to the 20th. The photo with the most likes and loves wins, and earns bragging rights.
