(KNSI) – The Stearns County Sheriff’s Office is alerting Cold Spring residents to expect lights and sirens on Thursday.
A significant training exercise is scheduled from 6:30 p.m. until dusk on the property in the 600 block of 1st Avenue SE. Vehicles, ATVs and other off-road equipment, K9 teams, drones, and the Cold Spring Fire Department are all scheduled to be involved.
The Facebook post does not mention any details on the scenario that is being drilled for. The property is an open field, but it sits near a neighborhood on the edge of the city.
