(KNSI) – As construction on 3rd Street North in Waite Park moves to the east, a new closure will affect drivers in the area.
About a week after Stearns County officials reopened the intersection at 10th Avenue North, it will close Waite Avenue on Monday, September 15th. Weather could affect how long the phase of the project lasts.
Also starting on Monday is work on CSAH 2 near Cold Spring. Pavement will be removed and replaced from the Sauk River bridge to 214th Street. A detour will be listed, but drivers should expect delays around both work zones.
The work could stretch for as long as two weeks.
