County Road Work Affecting 28th Avenue in Waite Park

(KNSI) – A stretch of 28th Avenue South in Waite Park by Mills Fleet Farm is snarling traffic for the next couple days.

Through Friday, crews are patching the road between County Highway 75 and the roundabout at County Road 138, about two blocks. Intermittent lane shifts and brief traffic stops will impact drivers trying to navigate through the area. Electronic signs will have instructions posted, but they’ll change quickly as crews shift between tasks.

The work is weather-dependent. Current forecasts are for an 80% chance of rain Thursday afternoon and night, which may extend the project.
