(KNSI) – Drive for show, putt for dough was on display recently in Sauk Rapids with the Rox Community Foundation.

The fourth annual Central MN Challenge Cup Mini Golf tournament brought out record crowds to Summerland Family Fun Park. Players navigated 36 holes across two courses, with their efforts bringing in $17,458 earmarked for scholarships for high school seniors who shine in career and technical education classes, particularly automotive repair. In total, over $46,000 has been donated through the event’s history.

The foundation says 112 people took part. It looks to continue the momentum on September 18th when it holds the Sporting Clays Shootout at Rice Creek Hunting Club.
