(KNSI) – After years of spreading holiday cheer, Emmy-winning vocal quartet Tonic Sol-Fa is taking one final Christmastime bow where the group began.
The popular a cappella singers’ Wrap It Up Holiday Tour will give fans one last chance to experience their harmonies before retirement. It’s a fitting final send-off as Tonic Sol-Fa’s holiday shows have become a Midwest tradition.
They launched their farewell tour on April 1st, with a show at the Paramount Center for the Arts in St. Cloud and are returning to the venue for their final Christmas concert on December 30th, 2025.
Tonic Sol-Fa reached national prominence with appearances on NBC’s Today Show and in Newsweek magazine. Along the way, they’ve shared the stage with performers including Jay Leno, Jeff Foxworthy and Lonestar, and were part of Garrison Keillor’s 30th-anniversary celebration of A Prairie Home Companion.
The group was started by Cheston Lance, Greg Terhaar, Steve Smith, Mark McGowan and Shaun Johnson while they were students at Saint John’s University in Collegeville. Tim Hoback also sang with the group for a time. The group would eventually become a quartet and remain that way for most of its existence. Today’s lineup includes Johnson, Greg Bannwarth, Jared Dove and Theo Brown.
Tickets go on sale Friday, August 22nd, at 10:00 a.m. Prices start at $36.00 and can be purchased online by clicking here.
