(KNSI) – The second, and last, St. Cloud Splash Pad Bubble Bash of the summer is scheduled for this Friday.
This is the first year for the events put on by the city’s Park and Recreation Department. The July party was held at Haws Park in the Southside neighborhood. For August, the fun moves to Centennial Park at the end of the work week from 5:30 to 7:00. AirMaxx will once again be providing the inflatable waterslide. Yard games and a bubble-making station are back.
A kids’ DJ will be set up right on the splash pad, bringing the energy amid the foam. The St. Cloud Stormwater Department is in charge of a kid-friendly activity. Organizers say they have taken allergies into consideration. The bubbles are safe for everyone who attends and environmentally friendly.
Waldo’s Pizza and Jupiter Moon Ice Cream will have food trucks at the event. No registration is required to attend, but meals will need to be paid for by attendees. As for the rest, it’s all free. Just show up with a towel and swim wear or other clothing that will still be comfortable when wet.
