Corn Fest Taking Over Valleyfair Next Two Weekends

(KNSI) – Valleyfair is about to get corny for its annual celebration of Minnesota’s signature farm crop.

Corn Fest runs Saturdays and Sundays through the end of August, plus Labor Day on Monday, September 1st. Special hosts will greet visitors throughout the amusement park. Expect to be a-maized by the different food and drink options.

Sip on seasonal beverages like the jalapeno and sweet corn margarita or a rhubarb refresher. Caramel corn funnel fries and roasted corn and hatch chile queso fries will tickle the taste buds.

Valleyfair will feel like a hoedown with lively music and interactive games. Plus, there is always the tried and true corn on a cob eating contest. Pack some floss for that.

Valleyfair has over 75 rides and attractions, from coasters to a water park. It’s located in Shakopee in the Twin Cities area.
