Hot Dog Eating Contest One of Thursday Stearns County Fair Highlights

(KNSI) – Move over, Nathan’s, the top eaters in Stearns County get their time to shine on Thursday.

The Stearns County Fair will hold a hotdog eating contest at 5:00 p.m. on the bandshell stage, one of a handful of special events for Day Two. At 1:00, there is a Senior Citizens Recognition Program scheduled. At 3:00, they’ll be hooping it up for the 14/27 Basketball Challenge.

Sheep and goats will take the spotlight in the Indoor Show Arena with back-to-back programs starting at 2:00. The Midway picks up at 3:00, its normal start time for the rest of the fair.

In the evening, Dana & The Bottlerockets light up the bandshell stage while the Demolition Derby roars at the Grandstand.
