(KNSI) – The Stearns County Fair has kicked off in Sauk Centre.
The first day involves a reduced schedule. The opening ceremony was held by the flagpole at 11:00 a.m., and the 4-H Building threw its doors open at noon. Animals began trickling in shortly after, with non-livestock check-in starting at 3:00.
The first musicians graced the stages at the Herald Bandshell and Heritage Stage in the afternoon, with the Knights of Columbus rolling out their bingo stand at 4:00. The Midway flips the switch on dozens of rides, concession stands, and game booths at 5:00 p.m. Rides are accessible with the purchase of a wristband.
The first action at the Outdoor Arena is at 5:30 with the Ranch Rodeo.
