(KNSI) – The 112th annual Benton County Fair finishes this weekend with grandstand events, midway rides, music and plenty of fair food for the whole family.

Throughout the weekend, the main buildings remain open daily, packed with events and activities. Visitors can explore the Discovery Center, Ag Craft exhibits, Sports Arena, and Heritage Building. As always, admission to the fair is free.

Friday kicks off the weekend with family entertainment on the Cottonwood Stage, featuring two puppet shows during the day and an evening magic show. Musical acts Wonderful World of Woody and Andrea will also take the stage, along with the 4-H Fashion Revue. Over at the grandstand, the tractor and semi pull starts at 5:00 p.m. The evening continues with the 4-H Llama costume contest in the barn at 6:00 p.m., then Mason Dixon Line takes the Beer Garden Stage from 8:00 to 11:00 p.m.

Saturday transforms into kids’ day, bringing special magic for younger fairgoers. Children can enjoy the bubble zone, make-it-and-take-it crafts, and even participate in a rooster crowing contest and talent show. Meanwhile, the grandstand hosts a fan favorite – the demolition derby. The action begins at 6:30 p.m. as drivers crash and bash their way to victory. Following the derby, the band Mallrats will rock the Beer Garden Stage beginning at 8:00 p.m.

The fair concludes on Sunday with a celebration of community and tradition. The day opens with a worship service, followed by the 4-H grand entry parade and the annual military parade. At 1:00 p.m., saddle up in the grandstand for the Bulls, Barrels & Broncos Rodeo. While cowboys and cowgirls compete for glory, performer Kat Blue brings her blend of blues, country and rock to the Beer Garden Stage. The fair closes its gates at 5:00 p.m. on Sunday.
