(KNSI) — Authorities say the 16-year-old from Monticello who disappeared June 27th has been found.

The Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension says Evan Peters left his home that day and stopped communicating with his family. The BCA classified him as missing and endangered.

An update late Thursday afternoon says Peters has been located safe.

The Wright County Sheriff’s Office thanked those who spread the word to help find them.
