Añejos in Waite Park Closes After Nearly 9 Years; Sartell Location Remains Open

(KNSI) – Añejos Mexican Restaurant in Waite Park has shut down for good after nearly nine years of service.

On Thursday, the restaurant posted on Facebook that they were closing with “sincere regret” and thanked customers for their support over the years. “We appreciate each and every one of you that has always been there for our family,” the statement read.

The ownership cited unforeseen economic circumstances that were beyond the restaurant’s control.

Añejos in Sartell remains open. The owners have reached out to Waite Park’s staff to offer them jobs at the Sartell Añejos or at the owner’s Tacoholic location in St. Joseph.

Gift cards and coupons will be honored at the Sartell location until August 31st, 2025.
