(KNSI) – A resurfacing project could cause headaches for motorists getting to the industrial park in Lynden Township near Clearwater.

On Monday, August 4th, construction crews will begin tearing up 200th Street East between County Road 145 and 21st Avenue East. The work will lead to a months-long closure of the roadway. Dates and timeframes are weather-dependent.

No detour will be posted, so local drivers will need to use extreme caution when making their way through the work zone. Drivers should also expect delays. Everyone else is asked to avoid the construction area if possible.

According to the township’s newsletter, the last major road work was in 2019 when 7th Avenue East was resurfaced near 189th Street.
