(KNSI) – The St. Cloud Police Department is recommending charges against four people who were involved in the brawl that occurred during Tech High School’s commencement ceremony.
The recommendations include counts against a 17-year-old girl, and three adult women, ages 19, 21, and 39. Everyone lives in the city of St. Cloud.
The ceremony took place on May 31st. The fight broke out just after 12:30 p.m. inside the River’s Edge Convention Center near one of the exits. District 742 staff and police officers worked quickly to break it up. A one-minute video posted by Alpha News’ Facebook page and shared with KNSI shows a group punching and hitting each other, pulling hair, and at least one person being knocked to the ground. No injuries were reported and no weapons were used in the skirmish.
It is KNSI policy not to identify suspects until they have been formally charged in court.
