July Dog Walker Watch Location and Topic Announced

(KNSI) — The St. Cloud Police Department is hosting its monthly Dog Walker Watch meeting on Tuesday, July 22nd.

The meeting will be held at Whitney Park’s dog park area off Forest Drive from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. The topic of the evening will be current cyber scams and frauds, and what to watch out for online.

Well behaved dogs are welcome to join their humans so they can play while the people learn. It’s also aimed at bolstering police and community relations.

More than 2,000 communities around the United States have signed up for Dog Walker Watch. The program was created by the National Association of Town Watch to help people who know their neighborhoods best by teaching them basic crime prevention tips, tricks and information.
