(KNSI) – The open house at the Ledge Amphitheater in Waite Park has been postponed due to soggy weather.

It is now scheduled for August 20th from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. People can take photos on stage and explore how concerts are produced during the free event. Organizers say visitors can see the inner workings of live performances while taking in the beauty of the natural quarry setting. The open house offers something for concert lovers, curious locals, and anyone seeking a one-of-a-kind experience.

The amphitheater holds around 6,000 people for concerts, comedians, movies in the park, vendor shows, community events, and more. The Ledge is built on a 25-acre site once operated by Martin Marietta, positioned between two quarries. The natural setting includes wooded walking paths that provide scenic overlooks of the surrounding landscape.
