(KNSI) – Mississippi River County Park is closing early on Thursday to allow for law enforcement training.
The Stearns County Sheriff’s Office writes on Facebook that the public will need to clear out by 5:30 p.m. The agency will have drills running until dusk, when the park typically closes. Everything should return to normal by Friday morning.
The Stearns County park is located in Rice off of County Road 1. It is 230 acres and has a high-profile archery range. There is also a boat access and canoe launch. The variety of amenities makes it a perfect choice to run drills for general and specialized situations.
