St. Cloud VA Names Permanent Chief of Staff

(KNSI) – The acting chief of staff at the St. Cloud VA Health Care System has been named to the post permanently.

Dr. Christopher Churchill had been serving in the position on an interim basis since March 21st. Church is the top advisor to the executive director for the St. Cloud region, which covers facilities in Alexandria, Brainerd, and Montevideo, on top of the primary hospital in St. Cloud.

Dr. Churchill began his VA career back in 2012 in Columbus, Ohio, as a primary care physician. He moved to St. Cloud in 2015 and served as the clinical community director for rehabilitation and extended care programs.

Churchill earned his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from Des Moines University in 2002. He is board-certified in hospice and internal medicine.
