(KNSI) — The Tri-County Humane Society is hosting a Get ‘Em Chipped Event on Tuesday, July 22nd at the Community Park Pavilion in Waite Park.
The event provides pet owners with an opportunity to have their dogs and cats microchipped, which the TCHS says is a simple procedure that drastically increases the chances of reuniting lost pets with their families. Microchipping is a safe, permanent form of identification that cannot be lost or removed like traditional collars and tags.
The event runs from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m. and is open to the public. No appointment is needed. The cost is $10 plus tax.
