Stearns County Deputies to Serve Up Root Beer Floats and Fun at Community Event

(KNSI) – The Stearns County Sheriff’s Office is looking to share a sweet treat during the 5th annual Community Floats event on Thursday, July 17th.

Deputies will be scooping root beer floats at River’s Edge Park in Waite Park from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. The pouring will continue while supplies last. It is free and open to the public, allowing everyone to meet the people who keep the streets safe.

Along with the cool treats, kids of all ages can enjoy games and get an up-close look at police vehicles and fire trucks.

Local comedian Adrian Washington will be the master of ceremonies for the event.
