(KNSI) – Senator Aric Putnam is still holding his traditional end-of-session town hall, even after the tragedy of recent weeks.
Putnam will meet with constituents to field questions and give his opinions on what to expect in the future at the Capitol. The event is scheduled for Tuesday, July 1st, at 6:00 p.m. inside the Mississippi Community Room at the main Great River Regional Library branch downtown St. Cloud.
Putnam represents District 14, which runs from St. Joseph through Waite Park, St. Cloud, and Sauk Rapids. The town hall is open to all residents of the district and will likely mark the first public event for a Minnesota politician since the shootings of Senator John Hoffman and Speaker Emerita Melissa Hortman.
