(KNSI) – Thirty restaurants, stores, and other venues are taking part in Friday’s Downtown Art Crawl in St. Cloud, offering a wide range of experiences for visitors.
Some spots, like the Paramount Theater, will host artists who will be available to answer questions and discuss how they create their art. The Watercolorist Society will be doing a live demonstration in the lobby as well.
Live demos are scheduled for RocketUp Tattoo for a different kind of art experience. Granite City Comics is bringing in writer and artist Jesse Switters to share how he brings the world of capes and superheroes to life.
Even among the more traditional displays, the variety is notable. It covers everything from woodcrafts to colored pencil, prints, buttons, stickers, tarot readings, clothing and bags, performance art, astrophotography, and live music. Every style and medium is represented.
The event, which runs from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. and is free to the public, will also serve as the soft opening for Project 37’s new coffee shop on 7th Avenue North.
