(KNSI) – More than 1,300 Xcel Energy customers are without power after a line of thunderstorms swept through the area around 1:00 p.m. Monday.
The outages have affected parts of St. Cloud, Waite Park, Sartell and Sauk Rapids. Xcel Energy estimates some customers may remain without power until 8:00 p.m.
The power disruption has forced St. Cloud Area School District 742 to cancel all classes, rentals and activities at Tech High School for Monday.
