(KNSI) – The manhunt is on for the suspected shooter in Saturday morning’s politically motivated attacks.

Officials believe Boelter is looking to flee the area, but did not elaborate on how he would do that. He fled from the Hortman house on foot after being confronted by law enforcement shortly after killing the former speaker.
Minnesota Department of Public Safety Commissioner Drew Evans refused to lay out a motive for the shootings. He confirmed that investigators had visited multiple crime scenes on Saturday multiple crime scenes, including the Champlin home of Sen. Hoffman and the Brooklyn Park home of Rep. Hortman, and Boelter’s last known address in Green Isle.
