(KNSI) – Daily commutes in Munson and Zion Townships are about to get longer due to a pair of culvert replacement projects.

The Stearns County Highway Department announced that starting Monday, complete road closures will be in effect for the next two weeks, weather permitting. The affected areas include 246th Avenue near Roscoe and 220th Street near Paynesville.

Local residents who must travel through these construction zones should use extreme caution and expect significant delays due to detour routes. However, all other drivers are strongly advised to avoid the areas entirely and seek alternate routes.
