(KNSI) – The Stearns County Highway Department is installing a roundabout on CSAH 133 in St. Joseph, which will shut down the intersection starting Monday, June 2nd.

The work is scheduled for where 133 meets Elm Street in an industrial park just north of Highway 75. It will have two phases. During the first, the detour is to stay on 75 until Highway 2, head north and make a right on 320th Avenue. Once Phase Two starts, drivers only need to head over to Northland Drive and then backtrack to the east on Elm.

CSAH 133 is a busy road that runs from St. Joseph to Five Points and then bends to Sartell. It is one of the main routes that loop around St. Cloud to the north. Commercial trucks use it to get from I-94 to Highway 10.

The work should lift in September.
