Pan Park Neighborhood Road Construction Ramps Up

(KNSI) – The Pan Park neighborhood construction project will expand Tuesday, causing several streets to be blocked off for the entire summer.

Drivers have recently had to contend with rolling lane closures on 8th Street North between 25th and 29th Avenues. Phase 4 of the work will shut down 26th, 27th, 28th, and 29th Avenues from 7th to 8th Street North until mid-October. Drivers are also barred on 7th Street North from 29th to 25th Avenue North and 9th Street between 29th and 27th Avenues.

Local traffic will be allowed to access their properties, but officials ask they take precautions while inside the construction zone. For through traffic, Veterans Drive/8th Street North will stay open during the work.

No detour is being posted. The schedule is dependent on weather cooperating. Construction should be wrapped by mid-October.
