(KNSI) — The Cold Spring Area Chamber of Commerce is excited to welcome back the Rock the River Community Concert Series, which will be held on the third Thursday of each month from May through August at Alexander Park.

The family-friendly event runs from 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. and features live music, food, drinks, kids’ activities, and Third Street Brewhouse beverages for the adults.

Each night will be themed for different local groups and will recognize their community contributions. May 15th is EMS Recognition Night to salute local emergency first responders. The music is from Crystal Breeze. DiamondBack will be taking the stage on June 19th, which is designated as Young Entrepreneurs Night to highlight future business leaders. July 17th is Local Business Night with The Revolution 5. The theme will showcase the businesses that power the community. August 21st is Military Appreciation Night, honoring veterans and active-duty service members with musical guest Clear Blue Country.

Admission is free; attendees are encouraged to bring lawn chairs or blankets. A variety of local food and drink vendors will be on site each evening.

Roseann Baisley, Chamber Administrator of the Cold Spring Area Chamber, says the concerts are “more than just a night of great music. They’re a celebration of community spirit. We’re excited to welcome families, neighbors, and visitors to enjoy these summer evenings together.”
