(KNSI) – Two dominant disco acts will throw up a mirror ball at The Ledge Amphitheater in Waite Park this summer and get down.
The venue announced an August 7th show featuring KC and the Sunshine Band as the main act with the Village People. Tickets for the Doin’ It World Tour 2025 stop will go on sale this Thursday with an exclusive presale at 10:00 via Ticketmaster. The general on-sale date is Friday.
KC and the Sunshine Band have a ton of hits that remain staples on the radio, at weddings, and even in arenas and parades. “Get Down Tonight,” “That’s the Way (I Like It),” and “Shake, Shake, Shake (Shake Your Booty)” are all high-energy tunes that can bring anyone’s spirits up. Hearing them live in person will be sure to lead to spontaneous bouts of dancing—in fact, it’s encouraged.
Village People are the perfect complement, with larger-than-life personalities and flashy outfits. There will be plenty of toe-tapping as they go through their catalogue, which includes “Y.M.C.A.,” “Macho Man,” and “In the Navy.”
