(KNSI) – The 2025 Minnesota Moms Fishing Challenge is back for the third year in a row.
Moms fish for free – no license needed – for Take a Mom Fishing Weekend May 10th and 11th. Each catch she reels in, she’ll be eligible for prizes once the picture of her and her fish is posted on the Minnesota Moms Fishing Challenge Facebook page.
Last year, over 3,000 moms took part, reeling in more than 1,500 fish.
The Minnesota Legislature established Take a Mom Fishing Weekend in 1988 to align with Mother’s Day and encourage outdoor family time. To learn more, click here.
