Property Taxes Due Next Week

(KNSI) – Stearns County is reminding residents that the due date for paying the first round of property taxes for 2025 is coming up on May 15th.

There are options to pay online, by mail, or in person. Those doing it via computer or smartphone can use either an electronic check, which is feeless, or a credit card.

To mail in a payment, make sure it is postmarked by the 15th. Include the first half payment stub or Parcel ID number in the envelope with the check. Address it to Randy R. Schreifels, Stearns County Auditor-Treasurer, P.O. Box 728, St. Cloud, MN 56302.

Residents can drop off payments at either the Waite Park Service Center on County Road 138 or the county administration center in downtown St. Cloud. Both offices are open from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Officials suggest setting up an ACH payment plan that can be deducted automatically either quarterly or monthly for 2026. A link with more information is here.
