(KNSI) – St. Cloud Toyota has purchased Bee Line Sports Center and Bee Line Auto Service in St. Joseph.
St. Cloud Toyota also owns Waite Park Auto and Service, and it will relocate the used car business to the St. Joseph location, renaming it Bee Line Auto and Sport.
According to a press release, Bee Line has been in business for 97 years and owned by the Westra family for three generations. People close to the deal tell KNSI News that Dani and Duan Westra plan to retire in the near future and want to sell the company to another local dealership. The Bee Line team is staying on to ensure a smooth transition.
Company officials say they also plan to expand the St. Joe facility soon. The deal was finalized on Wednesday.
